Competition Overview

This competition encourages participants to create memes that spread awareness about palliative care in a creative, humorous, or emotionally impactful way. The focus is on highlighting the comprehensive aspects of palliative care, including physical, psychosocial, spiritual, practical, and emotional support. Key themes could include:

• Patient dignity
• Pain management
• Holistic care approaches
• Patient-family relationships
• Communication in care
• Providing comfort and dignity in end-of-life care

Who Can Participate

Open to healthcare professionals, students, caregivers, and others with a passion for palliative care awareness. The participants must register to IAPCON 2025 before submission.

Submission Guidelines

1. Theme: The meme should be centered on any aspect of palliative care (e.g., holistic care, patient-family relationships, communication in care, pain relief strategies, emotional and spiritual support, or dignity in end-of-life care).


2. Meme Types:
   • Static Meme (Image):
     • File format: JPEG, PNG.
     • Image size: 1080 x 1080 px (square).
   • Video Meme:
     • File format: MP4, MOV, or GIF.
     • Duration: Maximum 30 seconds.
     • Resolution: Minimum 720p (HD) quality.


3. Content Guidelines:
   • Text should be clear and directly relevant to the theme.
   • The meme can be humorous, serious, or inspiring, but should be sensitive to the subject of palliative care.
   • Ensure the meme promotes a positive, constructive message about palliative care.
   • Originality: Memes must be original, created specifically for this competition. Plagiarism will result in disqualification.
   • Submission Limit: Each participant can submit a maximum of five memes (either static, video, or one of each).
   • Language: Memes can be in English or Hindi (regional languages are also acceptable if English subtitles are provided).
   • File Name: Use the format [YourName_MemeTitle] for the file name.
   • Submission Deadline: All submissions should be received by 20th January 2025.
